Hi, my name is Jaiden and I run
OMNI MECHWORKS
I’m a Mechatronics Engineering student and hands-on maker who specialises in 3D scanning, scan-to-CAD and practical mechanical projects. Omni Mechworks is where I document the parts I reverse-engineer, the assemblies I build, and the lessons I learn turning real-world ideas into precise digital models.

Welcome to Omni Mechworks
This is my working scrapbook of engineering projects – from 3D scans of complex parts and vehicles, to custom brackets, HVAC modules and one-off mechanical solutions. I use this space to break down how I approach problems, what worked, what didn’t, and how I’d tackle it next time. If you’re a potential employer, collaborator, or client, these projects are the best way to see how I think and what I can deliver.
Most of the work here combines three things: accurate capture of the real world, thoughtful CAD design, and practical fabrication. Some projects are commercial jobs, others are personal experiments – all of them have taught me something that feeds back into the next build.
The story of
Jaiden Gullotta
I started my career as a qualified cabinetmaker, spending years building things that had to fit, work and last in the real world. That hands-on background naturally led me into Mechatronics Engineering at Griffith University, where I’ve been combining practical fabrication with electronics, control systems and software.
Omni Mechworks grew out of a simple idea: use modern tools – 3D scanning, CAD and digital workflows – to solve the kind of messy, physical problems I kept running into on cars, bikes and machinery. Over time that has turned into scanning full vehicles, reverse-engineering hard-to-find parts, and helping people take projects from “rough idea” to something that can actually be manufactured.
This site is a snapshot of that journey. It’s not polished marketing – it’s honest engineering work, mistakes included – because that’s what I’d want to see if I was deciding who to work with.
Featured Projects
I care most about whether something works reliably in the real world, not just whether it looks good in CAD. I’d rather spend extra time on the details than ship something I wouldn’t run on my own car or project.

Let’s work on something together
Alongside my own builds and uni projects, I take on selected client work around 3D scanning, scan-to-CAD, and mechanical problem-solving. If you’ve got a part that needs to be captured, a bracket that needs to exist, or a tricky fitment problem, I’m happy to talk through what’s possible.
